Konya Sheep Turkey is the homeland of Konya Sheep. It had been under protection for many years and opened again with very limited licenses every year.  Shoulder height is about 30 inches (76 cm) and weighs about 110 pounds (50 kg). Females are considerably smaller. Overall color is reddish-brown, with the chest and front of upper forelegs a darker brown. There is a narrow brown flank band and a grayish saddle patch. The horns are supracervical, curving above and behind the neck, females are hornless.
