Shikar is the Asian equivalent of Safari in Africa. In the old days the most classic "Shikar" was probably a tiger hunt in India. Those days are gone, but todaythe mountains, forests and plains of Asia beckon, holding a variety of game that in some areas actually rivals Africa... and presenting some of the most adventurous hunting experiences remaining on this earth. Shikar Safaris is bsed in Turkey and has been organizing hunts in Eurasia-Asia and Europe-for 18 years. We have not only traveled many times to each of our destinations; we have had "boots on the ground" in organizing hunting-based conservation programs in several countries.

We were involved in the famous Torghar Hills markhor recovery project in Pakistan since it started in 1999. We were first in the reopening of Iran and we are currently working with community-based conservation programs in Turkey, Mongolia and other areas in Pakistan. Our gola is not only to show you the greatest "Shikar-Safaris" of your life, but to continue to support game departments, communities and local hunters to ensure that wildlife and hunting opportunities continue to increase.

Over the years we have built teams of highly skilled and professional staff in the camps, airports and major cities of each of our hunting destination.They share our dedication in ensuring that you, our hunters and friends, enjoy the experience of a lifetime. we have organized and conducted more than 5000 successful hunts. Many of our hunters have taken World Record trophies with us and animals we have guided are well-represented in the "Top Ten" listings of most species that we offer.

Outside of Eurasia, for many years we have provided strong support to the world's leading conservation and hunting organizations, including America's National Rifle Association, Safari Club International, Dallas Safari Club, Wild Sheep Foundation, Grand Slam / Ovis, Weatherby Foundation International, Shikar - Safari Club, Conklin Foundation, CIC and Conservation Force. These organizations represent who we are and what we believe in.
